Hard West 2

Hard West 2 is a turn-based tactics game set in a dark, occult vision of the Wild West, where folktales of the frontier collide with supernatural forces. Players take the role of Gin Carter, a notorious outlaw who assembles a posse to rob the legendary “Ghost Train” and its cargo of federal gold, only to end up fighting to reclaim their own soul. It is developed by Ice Code Games and published by Klabater.

Gameplay

Combat is turn-based and takes place in dynamically shifting environments, including horseback chases and train hold-ups. Defeating enemies activates the Bravado State, which replenishes Action Points so kills can be chained across multiple foes. Mysterious playing cards build poker hands that power up each posse member, and the posse can be kitted out with guns, explosives, trinkets and supplies. Choices made while leading the group affect Loyalty Points, which unlock new skills for companions. Between fights, players explore the Wild West from snow-covered landscapes to frontier towns. The Xbox Store lists it as single-player.
