Once Human

Once Human is a free-to-play open-world survival game from Starry Studio and NetEase Games. Players explore a surreal post-apocalyptic landscape, gather resources, build territory and face strange threats known as Deviants.

It launched on Xbox Series X|S on 25 August 2026 with cross-play, cross-progression and Xbox Play Anywhere, so progress carries between console and the Xbox PC app. The game is included with Game Pass Essential, Premium and Ultimate, and it supports Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Seasonal scenarios refresh the world with new maps, bosses and systems. Coverage of each season — including later seasons such as Dissonant Resonance — is collected through the hub’s news list as it lands, alongside achievement notes and Game Pass status.
