School’s back in session, and this time the whole campus is the escape room. Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is out today, 5 November 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, and it’s in Game Pass from day one.
According to Xbox Wire, it joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one across Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC. Game Pass Premium and Essential aren’t listed for this one.
One big puzzle campus
Coin Crew Games’ sequel takes the timed escape rooms of the first Escape Academy and links them into a huge, explorable, puzzle-filled campus. Xbox Wire calls it “the first open world escape room game”, which is a bold enrolment pitch.
You can play solo or bring a friend along in online or local two-player co-op. Xbox Wire’s tips for new students also points to clear structure and unobtrusive in-game hints, so nobody gets held back a year.
