What is the story?
You play Vihneek, a powerless Skaven prisoner obsessed with becoming the ultimate Deathmaster assassin. He’s freed by Skiteek, a fellow Eshin assassin from Clan Skrell, but his rescuer turns out to be his new captor. Clan Skrell uses Vihneek as a weapon and forces him to carry out deadly contracts at any cost.
Every kill raises Vihneek through Clan Skrell’s ranks, while rival clans threaten him across the paranoid Skaven underworld and the fractured depths of the Gnaw.
How does it play?
- Stealth or slaughter: slip past threats unseen or kill anything in your way, from cowering dregs to towering rat ogors
- Traps and terrain: spring traps and use your surroundings to outwit enemies
- Skaven senses: according to the Xbox Store listing, Vihneek’s heightened senses run on smell and hearing
- Warpstones: collect them to unlock new abilities and tools
- Clan territories: each clan you infiltrate has its own rules, threats and abilities to learn
