Aniimo

Aniimo is a free-to-play, creature-catching open-world RPG from Pawprint Studio, set on the continent of Idyll. You catch Aniimo with Aniipods, traps and well-timed throws, and the creatures you meet change with the environment, weather and time of day. Most of them can evolve.

Its signature mechanic is Twining: you merge with an Aniimo you’ve collected and use its skills to explore, solve puzzles and win battles. Aniimo is free on Xbox Series X|S with Xbox Play Anywhere. It isn’t part of the Game Pass library, but Game Pass members can claim a monthly in-game reward pack.
