What is HITMAN World of Assassination?

It brings together HITMAN, HITMAN 2 and HITMAN 3 in one game: the main campaign across more than 20 locations, plus Contracts mode, Escalations, Elusive Target Arcades, featured live content and the rogue-like Freelancer mode.

Is HITMAN World of Assassination on Game Pass?

No. It isn’t included with any Game Pass tier right now, so it’s a purchase. We’ll update this page if that changes.

How much is HITMAN World of Assassination on Xbox?

The standard edition is £58.49 / $69.99 on the Xbox Store, and it’s an Xbox Play Anywhere game. There’s also a free demo, the HITMAN WOA Free Demo ft. The Undying, which includes this season’s The Host Assignment.

What’s the current Elusive Target?

The Host, featuring Seán McLoughlin (Jacksepticeye) as wealthy, controversial content creator and former children’s TV star Finn Colton, aka Finnvictus, runs from 29 October to 25 November 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X and ROG Xbox Ally. 47 infiltrates Colton’s 24/7 livestreaming complex in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, as a guest on the Finn and Friends podcast posing as “thought leader” Tobias Rieper. The client is a relative of a creator who disappeared after signing with the Finnvictus team. It’s free for players with access to Hawke’s Bay, and Free Demo players can play it through The Host Assignment. Read our full story on The Host.

The Host Pack (£6.69 / $7.99 on the Xbox Store) keeps the mission permanently through The Collab Arcade contract and The Host Assignment, and adds the Thought Leader Suit with Gloves, the Persona “Suit”, the Demon Dakota 12G, the DXTR PlayFactory Controller, the Creator Soundboard, the Kwineeny Collectible and themed Freelancer Safehouse cosmetics.

What’s in Season of The Host?

  • Special Assignment: a Special Assignment with five challenges alongside The Host, free.
  • Like Mist: returning challenge from 29 October, rewarding The Vampire Magician Suit.
  • The Hijacker Duck: IOI Account reward for playing The Host during its run.
  • Royal Purple Banana: Twitch Drop, 29 October to 9 November.
  • Featured Contracts: FC7S Roulette Rivals World Championship batch (29 October) and Munga’s Big Batch (12 November).
  • Returning Elusive Targets: The Pharmacist in Paris (30 October to 8 November), The Warlord in Bangkok (6 to 15 November) and The Entertainer in Marrakesh (13 to 22 November).
  • Alter Ego Pack: a paid add-on with suits, weapons and Freelancer cosmetics, out 29 October.

The full schedule is on IO Interactive’s Season of The Host roadmap.
