Indiana Jones and the Great Circle puts you in Indy’s shoes in a first-person adventure from MachineGames. It’s been on Xbox Series X|S since 9 December 2024, it’s part of Game Pass, and its story DLC, The Order of Giants, is out now. Here’s everything we know.

What is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?
It’s a single-player, first-person action adventure set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Sinister forces are scouring the globe for the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle, and only Indy can stop them.
The adventure takes you from Marshall College to the Vatican, the pyramids of Egypt, the sunken temples of Sukhothai and beyond, with exploration, puzzles and ancient riddles along the way. Indy’s whip lets you distract, disarm and attack enemies, and swing across the environment.
Who makes it?
It’s developed by MachineGames, the studio behind the recent Wolfenstein games, and published by Bethesda Softworks, with Todd Howard as executive producer.
When did it come out on Xbox?
It launched on Xbox Series X|S on 9 December 2024. It’s an Xbox Play Anywhere game, so one purchase covers both Xbox console and PC.
Is it on Game Pass?
Yes. It’s included with Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass.
Is there any DLC?
Yes. The Order of Giants is a new story chapter that takes Indy to the catacombs of Rome, where he has to outwit a dangerous cult and solve puzzles to uncover the legacy of the Nephilim giants. It came out on 4 September 2025, and you need the base game to play it.
The Digital Premium Edition bundles the base game with The Order of Giants, a digital artbook and the Temple of Doom outfit.
