Fable Shows Off Flooded Wraithmarsh in New Screenshots

Playground Games' Visit Wraithmarsh guide tours the flooded north of Albion in four new Fable screenshots, from Sodden Dorrit to the HMS Jubilee.

Playground Games has taken Fable fans on a tour of Wraithmarsh, the flooded, foggy region in the north of Albion. Its new “Visit Wraithmarsh” guide comes with four new screenshots, ahead of the game’s launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on 23 February 2027.

It’s the second in-character travel guide from Fable‘s “Albion Board of Tourism”, following last week’s tour of Bowerstone. This time the destination is a mysterious, magical region in Albion’s wild North, which less discerning travellers dismiss as a haunted wasteland full of half-buried horrors.

From farmland to flood

Wraithmarsh used to be Bloodmoor, “the Oakshire of the North”. It took three Heroes and a giant dam called the Sea Wall to turn an uninhabitable saltmarsh into Albion’s finest farmland. Then the Sea Wall collapsed, and the resulting Flood gave Bloodmoor what the guide calls a “surprise rewilding”.

Where to stay

The base for visitors is Sodden Dorrit, a stubborn little town in a “somewhat fertile” patch of Wraithmarsh. Locals can cook just about any meal with cabbage, and the town shelters survivors from the lost villages of Underwall, Shepton-on-the Mound and Newton Bywater. Expect rain, fog, mist and drizzle.

Things to do

On a budget, you can go “statue spotting” for broken pieces of the great statues that once stood on top of the Sea Wall. Or visit the wreck of the HMS Jubilee, one of many ships left across Wraithmarsh by the Flood, which fought in the most recent Blood and Bower War. Lucky visitors might dig up a memento. Removing human remains is, the guide notes, illegal.

In town, Unperishables sells supplies, The Old Lamphouse serves drinks, High Fineries deals in salvaged keepsakes and Wraithmarks does tattoos. And if you’ve got money to burn, a two-bedroom shack in Wraithmarsh costs less than a new hat in Bowerminster, or you can buy the whole village.

Wraithmarsh also lends its name to Isabel, the Hero of Wraithmarsh, played by Hayley Atwell and revealed at the Xbox Showcase in June.

Fable on Xbox

Fable launches on 23 February 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and in the cloud. It’s coming to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one, and Xbox Play Anywhere means one purchase covers both console and PC. The Standard Edition is £59.99 / $69.99, and the Premium Edition (£89.99 / $99.99) adds Early Access from 18 February. It’s on our list of every game coming to Game Pass.
