Football Manager 27 kicks off on Tuesday 10 November 2026, with Game Pass on both the Xbox PC app and Xbox console, and a free Launch Preview runs from 29 October. Here’s everything we know so far.

Football Manager 27 is Sports Interactive’s next management sim. Its pitch is “focus meets flow”, which means a cleaner interface, a busier football world around your club and a bigger match day spectacle.
When is the Football Manager 27 release date?
Sports Interactive says FM27 is “launching globally from 10 November”. On day one that includes the Xbox PC app, and the studio says FM27 Console on Xbox will also launch from 10 November, “with further platform details to follow”. The Microsoft Store listing for the PC version shows 10 November too.
Is Football Manager 27 on Game Pass?
Yes. Sports Interactive confirms that the Xbox PC app version is included for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, and that FM27 Console comes to “Game Pass Console subscribers” from 10 November. Xbox hasn’t yet listed the console version on Xbox Wire, so the console details are the studio’s word for now.

Can you play Football Manager 27 early?
Yes, on PC. The FM27 Launch Preview runs from 6pm GMT on Thursday 29 October to 3 November. Sports Interactive says it’s playable through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, with all game modes available and no extra sign-up. Its small print limits the Game Pass Launch Preview to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. It’s a PC preview, so it doesn’t cover the console version.

Price and pre-purchase
The Microsoft Store doesn’t show a price yet. SEGA says a pre-purchase window opens at 6pm GMT on 3 November with 10% off and continued Launch Preview access until launch, but only through “SEGA-approved digital retailers”. It hasn’t said whether that includes the Microsoft Store. Xbox Play Anywhere isn’t listed.
What’s new in Football Manager 27?

- Match day spectacle: dynamic new pre-match cutscenes, plus major updates to crowds, weather and lighting.
- Tactics: all-new Tactical Tweaks add another layer of touchline influence, and player movement is more precise, so it’s easier to see your tactics take shape.
