Fans of comic book infused action RPGs have something to look forward to with the release of Superfuse on Steam Early Access. This game is set in a future where humanity has abandoned the Earth, and players take on the role of Enforcers – humanity’s super-powered protectors – on the mining asteroid Eros. Players can choose to play as one of three classes – the Berserker, Elementalist, or Technomancer – in either single player mode or co-op mode for up to four players, and attempt to hold back the tide of terrifying creatures known as “The Corruption”. The game has opted into GeForce NOW but there is no word if the game is coming.
Update – The game is now available on GFN.
Superfuse has a unique set of skills and talent trees, and an in-depth hyper-tailored skill system called Fuses. This system allows players to create and refine their character’s skillsets to a high level of individuality, making every character play differently. With randomized loot stats and hyper-customizable skill trees, players can optimize their unique superhero to suit their playstyle.
The game features procedurally generated levels, as well as handcrafted levels, and a fully voiced, story-driven campaign. The voice talent of award-winning actors, including Eli Harris, brings characters and NPCs to life, while the music is composed by award-winning composer Michael McCann (Deux Ex, Borderlands 3).
In addition to the single player campaign, Superfuse also offers online multiplayer for up to four players, with drop in/out co-op for the campaign. Players can mix and match classes to create the perfect superteam, and engage in procedurally generated contracts for greater challenges.
Superfuse is priced at $24.99/€24.99/£20.99 on Steam Early Access, and promises to be a thrilling and unique experience for fans of action RPGs.
