NVIDIA has announced a transition to a new payment processor for its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service. This change will bring a period of free access for existing paid members, but also some temporary adjustments to account management.
Free Access During Transition
Starting January 31, 2025, existing GeForce NOW paid members will have free access to the service while NVIDIA completes the payment transition. This free period will last for the duration of the transition.

Billing will be paused starting January 31, 2025, during the payment processor switch. Subscribers will not be charged during this time.
Unlimited Playtime for Impacted Accounts
NVIDIA has also announced a move to unlimited playtime for impacted accounts. While adding extra monthly playtime will be temporarily unavailable during the transition, impacted accounts will be migrated to unlimited playtime for the remainder of 2025. NVIDIA says those affected will receive an email with further details.

Some account features will be temporarily unavailable during the transition:
- Upgrades and Downgrades: Changing membership tiers (e.g., upgrading to Ultimate or downgrading to Performance) will be paused.
