Exciting news for GeForce NOW users! NVIDIA has announced that its cloud gaming service is transitioning to a new payment provider. While this transition takes place, existing paid members will enjoy a period of free access.
Free Access for Existing Members:
Starting January 31, 2025, all existing GeForce NOW paid subscribers will have their billing paused and can enjoy the service completely free of charge. This free period is a thank-you to the GeForce NOW community while NVIDIA works to implement the new payment system.
Payment Transition Details:
The transition to the new payment provider is expected to take a minimum of five weeks. During this time, some account management features will be temporarily unavailable, such as upgrading or downgrading memberships and adding extra playtime. However, NVIDIA has assured users that this will not disrupt their gaming experience.
GeForce NOW is Here to Stay:
This transition has also prompted some questions about the future of GeForce NOW. NVIDIA has been clear in its communication: GeForce NOW is not shutting down. In fact, February 2025 marks the fifth anniversary of the service, and NVIDIA has exciting plans for its future.
