It’s Thursday again, which means it’s time for our weekly GeForce Now coverage! This week we have some big Ubisoft news, as well as 10 new games arriving this week.
Riders in the Cloud
It’s official; Riders Republic will be arriving on GFN on the game’s launch day! So whatever device you are using, you’ll be able to shred the environments whatever the weather. That’s not all though, Far Cry 6 will also be arriving on the game’s launch day into the cloud, meaning October is packed for the Ubisoft fans.
We’re still not done with Ubisoft though! From the 9th September to the 12th, GFN members can experience Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege for free in preparation for the new Crystal Guard update. The game will be on discount during this time, so you can continue to enjoy the fun of clearing rooms or the horror of accidentally shooting your peaking teammate. We’ve all done that, right?
Games Coming This Week
With 10 titles arriving this week, there’s plenty to play, including the release of the hotly anticipated Life is Strange: True Colors and the niche but sure-to-be-a-hit title Bus Simulator 21.
Life is Strange: True Colors
It’s finally time! Explore a beautifully crafted and emotional story as all-new lead character, Alex. Using her psychic powers, you will work to discover the truth behind her brother’s death and the hidden secrets of a little town. Choose your future, make your own decisions and roam around Haven Springs. Filled with an incredible soundtrack
“Alex Chen hides her ‘curse’: the psychic power of Empathy, the ability to absorb the emotions of others. When her brother dies in a so-called accident, Alex must embrace her power to find the truth.”
Life is Strange: True Colors will be available on Steam on the 10th September.
We love a good turn-based game and we sure enjoy survival games. So what happens when you chuck that all into one? DESTINYbit have answered that question for you! You’ve landed in unknown territory, so start building your city, gather your resources and let the dice do the deciding. In the words of Cuphead’s Mr King Dice; “ya betta’ believe this dice is loaded!”
“Dice Legacy is a dice-based survival city builder set on a mysterious ringworld. Your ship has reached the shore of an uncharted continent. Roll and use your dice to gather resources, expand and defend your settlement, survive the winter and interact with the strange inhabitants of this eerie world.”
Dice Legacy is available today (9th September) through Steam.
Step into an alternate 1970’s as you explore a dystopian wasteland. Pick your character as you start in one of five divisions of the CRONUS Corporation and venture into The Dome. Do note, this isn’t Springfield’s Dome. Once you’re in, you’re in. Forget what you know about the old world, live by your own rules. But most importantly? Survive.
“A tactical sci-fi RPG set in an alt-1970’s, where an enormous and inexplicable artifact –the Dome– is discovered in a remote desert. Fight enemies, explore the anomalous wasteland, level up your character & join one of the forces in the ruined world.”
