Independent game studio Gamera Interactive has released a free Winter Update for its action role-playing game, Alaloth – Champions of the Four Kingdoms. The game is playable on GeForce NOW. The update, which is available now on Steam Early Access, includes over 30 new locations, 10 new quests, 2 new mobs, 3 new boss fights, and the addition of Hardcore and Permadeath modes. Alaloth – Champions of the Four Kingdoms is set in a fantasy world corrupted by darkness and full of conflict, and has won several awards, including Best Hardcore Game at the Indie Development Awards and several categories at the Nyx Game Awards. The game is currently on sale as part of the Steam Winter Sale, with a 40% discount available until January 5, 2023.
Winter Update for the game is now live on Steam. The update introduces two new features: Hardcore Mode and Permadeath. Hardcore Mode increases the difficulty by making mobs stronger and reducing the player’s stats, while Permadeath means that if the player dies, the game is over. These options will be available after the player’s first run through the game and can be customized by the player. The update also includes changes to the combat system and general balancing, new quests and enemy types, boss fight adjustments, and various bug fixes and performance improvements. There are also changes to enemy champions in the Competitive Mode and new rewards for defeating bosses. The update also introduces new characters and locations to the game’s lore.
